We bring you the full statement from Ubisoft: During the pre-launch phase of Watch Dogs 2, we discovered an issue tied to the seamless multiplayer feature that caused the game to lag and crash periodically. The reason why it has not gone live just yet is that it has to go through the certification process of Sony and Microsoft. The fix will come in the form of a patch, and it is ready for release on Ubisoft’s side. The multiplayer part of the game is causing the game to lag and crash from time to time, so they decided that it is for the best to take the multiplayer feature offline until it is fixed.
